West End Arts Library, a cultural gem in the vibrant heart of London’s West End, nestled between Leicester Square and The National Gallery.

Step into history at the very site where Sir Isaac Newton once lived. Our library's architecture beautifully mirrors the charm of Newton's original residence, blending historical elegance with modern functionality.

For over 90 years, we have been a beacon of knowledge and creativity, offering a collection that reflects our culturally rich location. West End Arts Library is not just a place to read, it is a unique space to connect, learn, and be inspired.

Our Art and Design collection is a treasure trove of national significance, proudly designated by Arts Council England. Dive into a rich selection of late 19th and early 20th century publications that cover everything from architecture and antiquities to design, fashion, fine art, and photography.

Explore our extensive periodical collection, featuring significant runs of Apollo, British Vogue, Tatler, and Studio. Our collection continues to grow with the latest exhibition catalogues and new publications, supporting a fantastic art lending collection that’s sure to spark your creativity.
