About this Event
Ella Speaks a Thousand Languages is an imaginative, interactive picture book that playfully introduces children to language, rhymes, and secret languages.
The book tells the story of Ella, a little girl who loves rymes, nonsense words, and animals. She experiments with language in creative ways. She doesn’t just speak everyday languages; she develops her own languages for different situations: “Screamish” when she’s angry, “Rhymish” when she goes to daycare, “Whisperish” to tell secrets, “Sausageish” when she eats, or “Bubbleish” when she splashes in the bathtub.
Ella communicates using her hands, feet, arms, and eyes, which encourages children to join in through play.
The book is a children's book in German language.
Afterwards, we will be creating something related to the book's theme.
