About this Event
We all love our children immensely. And yet our day-to-day interactions with them can be challenging-and exhausting. How can connecting with our children be easier? How can we meet their needs and understand them better? How to give them love and also limits? How can we take care of our own needs while doing this demanding job of parenting?
This class will focus on the parenting of children aged birth to five. The focus will be on: How can we tune into what our children are saying with and without words? What do children need in general? What gets in our way of listening and hearing their communication?
This in person workshop will be hosted on Saturday 5/9 from 11-2pm at Weavers Way Outreach Office located at 326B West Chelten Ave, Philadelphia PA 19144.
Claudia Apfelbaum worked as a parent educator for two decades and has been actively involved in thinking about parenting since the birth of her daughter in 1987. She holds thebelief that young people are people in their own right and need attunement to grow into happy and emotionally intelligent beings.
