Get out into nature this spring with Rainbow mind and connect with yourself and other members of the LGBTQIA+ Community. We're putting a mindfulness spin on bingo as we tune into our senses, while enjoying the beauty of one of North London's lovely parks at sunset.
Our Mindful walks offer a safe, welcoming LGBTQIA+ space for you to connect with others, engage all of your senses and learn about mindfulness. It's a great opportunity for us to take a moment away from the stresses of day to day life, be in nature, and practice being mindful and aware in support of our mental and physical wellbeing.
This walk will also involve an on-the-go game of bingo - centered around connection, mindfulness, and nature!
Key information:
📍 We will meet at 5:15pm - exact meeting spot will be confirmed by email 2 days before the walk. Nebula and Frankie will be there to meet you!
🕰️ We plan to be together from 5:15pm until 6:30pm, but we will take into consideration the weather and the size of the group, so please be aware that the walk may finish early.
👋 We will finish the walk at the same place we started.
🌱 During the walk, you'll be introduced to mindfulness and invited to join Nebula and Frankie from Rainbow Mind in a mindfulness exercise, focused on tuning into our present experience.
🍁 You'll be invited to engage with our mindfulness take on bingo - we'll provide the card and pens, so you just have to show up. You choose how you want to participate, but by the end of the walk, we'll have a chance to share back about our expedriences and see who won.
👣 Our route will be easy, non-strenuous, and wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if there might be any support you need or if you have any advice from your GP about not participating in gentle walking/movement.
💧 Please remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring anything you might need for the walk, such as a bottle of water!

Move with Pride is a series of movement and wellbeing sessions in East London from Rainbow Mind. These FREE sessions are designed to help you improve your physical and mental health, and are specifically created for and led by LGBTQIA+ folks.
