About this Event
You're not "too much." You're just full.
Full of everything you've been holding — the frustration, the things left unsaid, the anger you've been told to soften. This is the session where you stop holding it and start moving it.
Rage Release is a high-intensity breathwork and movement experience designed to help you access and release the emotions your body has been storing. Through powerful breathing techniques, intentional movement, and sound, you'll create space for what's been stuck to finally move through you.
This isn't about "managing" your anger. It's about giving it somewhere to go.
This session is for you if:
- You feel like you've been holding it together for way too long
- You want to scream, shake, cry, or move and finally have permission to do it
- Traditional meditation or "calm down" advice has never worked for you
- You're ready to feel lighter on the other side of what you've been carrying
Fair warning: this one is intense. That's the point. You'll leave feeling like you just put something down that you've been carrying for a long time.
Come ready to get loud, get messy, and get free.
No experience necessary, come as you are.
What to Expect: Somatic shaking, conscious breathwork, the opportunity to scream
All levels welcome—no experience needed.
Yoga mats (or comfy chairs) are provided.
What to Bring: You don't need to bring anything except yourself, however, the following items might make your experience more comfortable:
- A blanket
- A bolster or extra yoga mat to get extra cozy
- Water bottle
- Comfortable clothing
- Open mind and heart
- A journal for reflection
- Chapstick
We don't recommend eating a large meal 2 hours before we start, it might cause nausea
What's the parking situation?
You can park in the front lot in front of the building and come through the front door (next to the big garage door). There is also a gravel lot attached to that front lot where people have been parking for free with no issue for quite some time, if all of those spots are taken, and there is no street parking, you can park at Bearded Iris at 101 Van Buren St. and walk through the back door (right next to the Bearded Iris door)
When you walk through the front door of the building, make a hard left and you’ll see a brick wall. Walk through the opening of the brick wall and the double doors to within is right there!
If you come in the back door through Bearded Iris patio, you’ll walk down the curvy hall make your first right, take that all the way down and make a left, then you’ll see a brick wall with an opening take a right and the double doors to within is right there!
