It's Family Art Workshop with Angels Gate Cultural Center!

Angels Gate offers monthly free art workshops. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults, ages 1 to 101!

¡Es el Taller de Arte Familiar con el Centro Cultural Angels Gate!

Angels Gate ofrece mensualmente talleres de arte gratuitos. Todos son bienvenidos. Actividades artísticas para niños y adultos, ¡de 1 a 101 años!

In this workshop, we will briefly explore the history of collage art and its role inenvisioning a future beyond the artists’ current material constraints. We will then engage in that same act, pulling on our hopes and visions of what we would like for ourselves in the future by creating collaged artworks with various media, centering polaroid portraits of ourselves to attract and manifest those visions for ourselves.

En este taller, exploraremos brevemente la historia del arte del collage y su papel en la visión de un futuro más allá de las limitaciones materiales actuales de los artistas. A continuación, nos involucraremos en ese mismo acto, recurriendo a nuestras esperanzas y visiones de lo que nos gustaría para nosotros mismos en el futuro, creando obras de arte collage con diversos medios, centrándonos en retratos polaroid de nosotros mismos para atraer y manifestar esas visiones para nosotros mismos.

Meet your teacher in Building A's Gallery and we will walk over to our classroom in Building G.

All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.
