Join us Monday, March 23 at 5:30 pm, for the Studio Art Department’s annual Raab Lecture, this year delivered by artist Mallory Weston. Weston combines traditional jewelry and metalsmithing with textile techniques to create large-scale wearable works that merge analog and digital processes.The Raab Visiting Artist Lecture is sponsored by Rosanne Brody Raab ’55 and the Skidmore Department of Studio Art.

About Mallory Weston
Mallory Weston is an artist whose work combines traditional jewelry and metalsmithing techniques with textile processes to create large-scale wearable pieces. She merges analog methods with computer-aided design to produce objects of hybrid origin. Her work has been featured in recent solo exhibitions at the Baltimore Jewelry Center and Sienna Patti Contemporary, and she was the 2022 recipient of the Art Jewelry Forum Young Artist Award.
Weston regularly participates in national and international group exhibitions and is an active member of the global art jewelry community. In addition to her career as an educator, she maintains an active studio practice as a member of the JV Collective, a Philadelphia-based group of art jewelers. She received her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her BFA from The University of the Arts.
