Quip Shed Comedy @ The Three Stags!
Join us for a night of laughter at The Three Stags in Kennington this November! Our brilliant line-up features TV's Hannah Byczkowski, Hubert Mayr, Ben Pope, and host Lyle Barke!
Hannah Byczkowski is an up and coming comedian who wears her heart on her sleeve, and makes sure everyone has a good laugh with it. From observational and relatable material, to unbelievable stories, Hannah is making exciting waves on the comedy circuit.
Quick witted and hilariously compelling, Hannah has been named a ‘powerhouse performer who has grabbed live comedy by the scruff of the neck who has given it a jolly good kicking!’ by one of London’s biggest comedy promoters.
Hannah is the winner of BBC1’s “The Traitors”! Hannah also has a 5* rated comedy podcast called “Ghost Huns” which she co-hosts with Suzie Preece. Ghost Huns sold out their first live show at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe and two London Halloween specials. Ghost Huns are heading out on tour in 2024, they will be visiting Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, and London. For dates and tickets, head to their website.
Hailing from Austria, Hubert Mayr is a comedian on the rise. Since his 2017 debut, he’s conquered stages across the UK, including London’s iconic Comedy Store, and even performed in Sydney, Aus. Hubert’s distinct style, blending sharp writing and a relaxed delivery, has propelled him up the UK comedy ladder, earning nominations and impressive wins.
Notable victories include The Blackout at Up The Creek Comedy Club, Beat The Frog at The Frog & Bucket Comedy Club, and King Gong at The Comedy Store London. He secured the Bath New Act of the Year 2022 runner-up spot and was a finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian Of The Year 2018. Hubert’s talent earned him a BBC Radio 4 New Comedy Award nomination in 2019, and he clinched 3rd place in Max Turner Prize 2019 and Comedy Virgins Summer Comp. 2018. Ben Pope is a stand-up comedian and writer, gigging regularly across the UK. His Edinburgh 2018 debut stand-up hour Baby Sasquatch transferred to the Soho Theatre in June 2019, and he took his sophomore show Dancing Bear to the Pleasance Courtyard at the Edinburgh Fringe the same year.
He was the Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year Winner 2017 and has placed as a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and Comedy Cafe New Act of the Year 2015. He started comedy at university where he was the President of the Cambridge Footlights (2013-14) and has previously worked with the award-winning NewsRevue, and appeared on Comedy Central’s Achievement Unlocked and BBC New Comedy Award on Radio 4 Extra.
He is also one third of the cult sketch group Princes of Main who were part of the line-up at London SketchFest in 2016, host the monthly mixed-bill night Crazy Science Stupid Magic and have had sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2016 and 2017. Their critically acclaimed show New Year’s Eve (‘the future of sketch comedy is in safe hands’ – The Telegraph) transferred to London’s Soho Theatre in early 2018.
