Are you an LGBTQ+ identified writer who would like to meet other LGBTQ+ writers, and write in community?
Join us on the first Sunday of every month for two hours in the morning to keep your writing practice regular. We will have introductions at the beginning, then the rest of the time for writing ~ whether you want to chat during or at the end is up to you.
Some people may come only to write, some to write and share their work, some to read or swap work with others for praise or critique. It could be an ideal forum to share upcoming writing opportunities if that's of interest. Please respect each person's individual choice as to how they govern their writing practice and use this time.
This is a writing group. It is not a facilitated workshop. Bring what you need to write with, and meet us there! Booking is essential as places are limited for the booking.
This group is for people who identify as LGBTQ+ only. It is a safe space for people to share space to write. No discrimination of any form will be tolerated.
A note on toilets: Boston Tea Party currently have toilets labelled 'male' and 'female', and a single disabled cubicle downstairs. They are currently working out how they can make their toilets more inclusive in all their cafes.
