Queer Embodied Movement

Queer Embodied Movement combines somatic movement, yoga asana, dance and movement.

Going through a body scan of movement, through some stretches and postures, to the peak, full body led movement and dance, combining breath, presence and closing with connection.

this is a queer event for members of the LGBTQ+ community, queer, trans and gender diverse people. We have zero tolerance policy on any hateful or offensive behaviour. If you do not align with these values, please do not attend.

embodied movement can be nerve wracking if it is your first time. But you will be surrounded by kind souls, creating a safe space for you to move your body & dance as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

what to expect:

- no experience needed

- fully led ecstatic dance and expression

- tune into your body

- heal through movement

- move stagnant energy and emotion

with elements of ecstatic dance, embodied and somatic movement.

- yourself!

- comfy clothes

- a water bottle
