The Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute (QMIPRI) will host an International Conference on ‘AI Frontiers in Intellectual Property Law: Navigating the Future’ at The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, on 27-28 June 2024. The conference will gather together experts from academia, legal practice, and technology to address the rapidly evolving interplay between AI technologies and IP law. The event will explore critical issues within copyright, patents and trade secrets laws, amongst others, and assess the prospective future of IP protection in an era of fast developing AI technology.
Attendees will benefit from insights shared by a prominent roster of speakers and panellists on the forefront of AI and IP law, engage in meaningful discussions on the implications of AI across intellectual property law, the significance of IP in promoting AI innovation, and effective strategies to navigate AI's legal complexities.
