About this Event
Qi Gong is a mindful movement practice where we work with our life-force energy to help feel less stressed, more energised, and in greater harmony with ourselves, others and with the rest of nature. Qi Gong has ancient roots and is based on Taoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory.
This workshop will cover:
• Introduction to Taoist philosophy: the Tao and Yin-Yang theory
• Qi Gong practice and meditation
• Readings from Tao te Ching

What to wear/bring
Wear warm loose clothing. There are yoga mats and blankets in the Studio but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
If you have a physical or mental health medical condition that might affect your ability to participate, or affect your or other people’s safety or enjoyment, you should take appropriate medical advice and inform me of your condition. Please also let me know if you are pregnant.
Accessibility: the Studio is located upstairs on the first floor and is accessed by a single flight of stairs - unfortunately there is no lift.
About the teacher: Nadine Andrews is a certified Holden QiGong Instructor and has been practising Qi Gong and other Taoist physical arts for 20 years, and has taught mindfulness meditation since completing teacher training in 2013 with Bangor University Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice in 2013.
