The QFW 5K benefiting Charlotte Pride is growing into something bigger than a race.Led by Q Fitness and Wellness, with Charlotte Pride as the beneficiary partner, this community wellness fundraiser brings together movement, Pride, joy, visibility, and support for LGBTQ+ community impact.
Our goal is to make this the highest-attended QFW 5K yet and create a fabulous start to Pride season. Join us for a morning of movement, community, fitness, wellness, vendors, celebration, and Pride. The Carolinas LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce is also supporting this event to celebrate Q Fitness and Wellness being a Small Business Member, and the owner, Crem Morris-Frazier being a recent Catalyst Award winner.
This year, there are two ways to participate:
• QFW 5K: For runners, walkers, joggers, movers, and anyone who wants to complete the course at their own pace.
• QFW ZeroK: Not a runner? All good. ZeroK is OK, too. The ZeroK is for supporters who want to show up, cheer, celebrate, visit fitness and wellness-focused vendors, support Charlotte Pride, and be part of the day without running or walking the 5K. And to be clear, the ZeroK is not anti-fitness. Quite the opposite. It is designed to make this event even more inclusive of all bodies, all comfort levels, and all fitness and wellness interests. The idea is simple: get outside, touch some grass, move our bodies in whatever way feels right, and show up for Pride.
Whether you are moving the course, cheering from the sidelines, bringing your team, supporting a friend, or showing up for the cause, there is a place for you. Come support Q Fitness and Wellness. Come support Charlotte Pride. Come support LGBTQ+ fitness, whole-body wellness, and community care.
Run it. Walk it. ZeroK it. Pride is movement, so move your way.
