About this Event
Join us in this social coffee klatch where you can get to know intergenerational queer men from all over the valley and help us imagine more fun & inspiring regular spaces in the valley for queer men to gather & get to know one another this spring & beyond.
FIND QUEER NEIGHBORS WHO SHARE YOUR INTERESTS: Q-MoB has received growing calls to offer regular social, recreation/wellness, & arts/culture activities for rural queer men in the Connecticut River Valley (AKA Pioneer Valley). At a historic planning coffee klatch on 2/21/26, twenty men of all ages created 8 activites in March, 10 in April and agreed they wanted to keep meeting once a month to continue getting to know one another and the kinds of regular activities they'd like to host to address the many interests, geographies, and schedules of the many diverse queer men in the valley, while also supporting & collaborating with the many queer men's activities that are already happening like dodgeball, volleyball, potlucks, twice monthly bar/pub outings, etc.
HELP INCREASE DIVERSITY OF MEN WHO GET INVITED: Because we want to engage men from al over the 3 counties in the Valley, adult men all age ranges, & from diverse backgrounds/races/ethncities, and with various interests, we request you invite your dirverse queer male friends, neighbors, & colleagues to join us at this monthly planning & social gathering every 3rd Sunday, 11am-1:30pm.
COFFEE KLATCH SCHEDULE: From 11am-12pm we socialize, getting to know several men one-on-one who we don't already know & 12:00-1:30pm we gather as a big circle to hear reports of how last month's activities went, prooposals of new activities men would like to offer, & refine & add to our plans for activities in the next 2-3 months. Hosts of activities get feedback about their ideas for activities and find other men who would like to help make their idea happen. For example at our 1st planning gathering we learned there were 5 men interested in a fiber arts crafting group so we organized a gathering to invite other queer male fiber artists and beginners to gather and share techniques, gossip, and get their crafting on. Ice skaters also found one another & scheduled an ice skating gathering. If you want to learn more about how easy it is to co-host an activity, check out this & consider .
