Belongó presents the 12th annual Pueblo Harlem: Celebrating Latino Culture,, a day-long music festival in Harlem that brings together community, culture, and live performance.
A whole-day affair for families and the Harlem community, Pueblo Harlem invites audiences of all ages to experience a full day of music and cultural activity. The day begins with hands-on workshops that introduce children to instruments and musical foundations, alongside salsa lessons for both kids and adults. As the day continues, the program expands into live performances spotlighting Harlem artists and beyond, with programming that carries into the afternoon and early evening for the entire family.
This year’s festival features a full day of programming, including activities, salsa dance lessons, a light lunch, and live performances throughout the afternoon. The program includes the multi–GRAMMY Award-winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, The Fat Cats, Belongó’s pre-professional youth ensemble, and special guests.
Through performance and education, Belongó advances and preserves the music of the Americas, rooted in African and Indigenous traditions and expressed through the evolving language of jazz. Now in its 12th year, Pueblo Harlem continues to celebrate the history, creativity, and cultural richness of Latino communities while creating space for connection, learning, and shared cultural experience in Harlem.
