Share, listen, explore, and integrate the challenges and wisdom of psychedelic experiences.
Join our Psychedelic Society Sharing Circle, an opportunity to share openly about personal psychedelic experiences, explore their significance, and learn from those of others. We'll use various activities such as meditation, visualization, and self-inquiry to encourage self-exploration and connection. The goal is to create a supportive environment for open discussion, reflection, and meaningful conversation. We invite you to come with an open mind, ready to connect and learn from others on a similar journey.
It doesn't matter if your experience was with psychedelic drugs or with something else that has significantly shifted your consciousness and perspectives. Those who are simply curious about psychedelics and the nature of the mind are also welcome to join.
What to Expect:
Arrival, connect, and get a cup of tea
Introduction to one another in the group
Guided meditation, visualization or self-inquiry
Connection exercises in pairs or small groups
Opportunity for reflection and sharing in larger groups
Evening conclusion
If you want to attend but finances are a barrier, please get in touch with [email protected].
About the Facilitators
Michael Barry
With a background as a doctor of Emergency Medicine, Michael is currently retraining as a psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist with the goal of helping people to prevent illnesses before they reach a crisis point. He works at a residential addiction rehab clinic in Weston-super-Mare, working 1-1 and in groups.
He has completed the Psychedelic Practitioner training at the Synthesis Institute, during which he did a month-long placement at a retreat center in Mexico combining Western psychotherapy and Ayahuasca. He is now apprenticing and assisting on various retreats.
Outside of the Western clinical framework, he is walking the path of sacred plant medicines in the Peruvian tradition and has done several traditional “plant dietas” in Peru. He also practices Buddhist ways of being and silent retreat work. His favorite thing is to play guitar and sing to Mother Earth during ceremony.
Martha Allitt
Martha is an educator, yoga teacher, and co-owner of the Psychedelic Society. For the past four years, she has curated and hosted events centered on altered states of consciousness, mental health, and psychedelic harm reduction. She has facilitated numerous psychedelic sharing and integration circles, as well as embodiment retreats and workshops.
With a BSc in Neuroscience, Martha is especially interested in the intersection of Western biomedicine and spiritual practices, exploring how their combination can promote personal growth and development. Martha also volunteers with PsyCare UK, where she provides support to individuals experiencing drug-related challenges.
