About this Event
Whether quarantined, working from home, or in the field as a front-line worker, heightened
stress and the understanding of self was shifted due to the COVID-19 storm. During and post-pandemic we collectively grieve, reimagined, redefined, and reinvented ourselves and the world
around us to survive. For most of us, we got sucked right back into “work”. We picked up the
broken pieces and did our best with what we had. What about you? Did you have time to process
your newly developed self? Development is a product of the ongoing interactions between
individuals and their social environments. You are forever changed. The McLeod Centers for
Wellbeing has created a space for you to analyze and reflect on yourself. This full-day retreat
focuses on the nature of self-understanding, social relationships, and the mental processes that
support connections between the person and his/her social world. Grounded in psychosocial
theories, The McLeod Center with Andrea Garraway Counseling PLLC presents “Aspects of
Life”. This is your chance to step out from behind helping others, the spreadsheets, and clinical
reports to invest in yourself. During our 6-hour retreat together you will look at your physical
health, mental health, emotional health, and social health (financial and spiritual wellness).
You can be selfish about your self-care here. In this safe space, pause and look at yourself, starting
now and across the rest of your life span.
