Get creative this Pride Month and join us for a fun-filled terrarium workshop!
About this Event

Calling all plant lovers! Have you ever wanted to build your own terrarium? In celebration of Pride Month, join fellow plant-loving queers to create your own miniature ecosystem—your very own container oasis. This hands-on workshop is open to all, no experience required.

We know Pride can be joyful, vibrant, and sometimes a little overwhelming. This workshop offers a space to slow down, connect, and create something grounding—an oasis you can return to for moments of calm and reflection. Come express yourself through terrarium-building!

Containers and planting materials will be provided, and we encourage participants to bring their own containers from home to personalize and transform.

Thursday, June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Public $65, TBG Members $60 (plus applicable taxes and fees).

About Bree Jiang

Bree Jiang (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and facilitator based in Toronto. Throughout her arts practice, she is inspired by queer ecology and finding metaphors for queer and trans expression within nature. Her lifelong awe of nature has translated into a love of creating enclosed ecosystems.

Bree has facilitated terrarium-making workshops and spoken about the joys of creating bioactive terrariums, including with the Garden Club of Toronto. She is one half of Venusrium (@venusrium), a collective founded by two trans women of colour that aims to foster community connection for BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ people through terrarium-making and plant-based workshops. More of her work can be found at @_breejiang.
