About this Event
This half day workshop identifies the hazards associated with different walking and working surfaces, and participants will learn strategies and best practices in order to prevent slips, trips, and falls on the job. Topics include the fundamentals of safe surfaces, walkways and floors, stairs and fixed ladders, and portable ladders and scaffolding. Participants will also discuss measures employees can take to prevent slip, trip, and falls, as well as related OSHA safety standards and best practices. Slips, trips, and falls are consistently one of our largest Workers’ Compensation claim categories - and can be one of the most easily preventable too.
