Our program is designed to prepare students, through a deep understanding of yoga and experiential learning and mentorship, to apply yoga tools in specific therapeutic situations.

Yoga Cikitsa is the therapeutic application of yoga. There are many formats for Yoga Cikitsa -- structural yoga therapy, ayurveda yoga therapy, psychological therapy, and more. Requirements for the Yoga Cikitsa program includes a minimal 500 hour Yoga training, three years of personal practice and 2 years of teaching prior to beginning the program, an application form including a exam, and an interview. You must have a minimum 500 hours with 300 in advanced yoga training. The bridge course will give you the basic preparatory information for the full yoga therapy training. In the bridge course, come and learn the style of teaching before committing to the full training.
