About this Event
Pranayama as a Path of Self-Discovery: Breath, Psyche & Self Awareness
with Yogi Ashokananda
Breathing happens continuously, yet we rarely notice it. When attended to with care, breath becomes more than a biological function. it becomes a way of listening inward. This workshop offers a space to slow down, explore, and discover how conscious breathing can support a more attentive and meaningful relationship with oneself.
This workshop introduces traditional yogic breath practices (pranayama) in a psychologically grounded and accessible way. Rather than focusing on performance or physical achievement, we will explore breath as a tool for self-observation, creativity, and purposeful living.
Through guided practices, reflection, and discussion, participants will discover how shifts in breathing can influence emotional states, imagination, and awareness — opening new perspectives on personal experience.
