A physical meditation that peels back the layers of self to reveal your true essence. If you give in to the dance fully - expressing, releasing, allowing it to be a vehicle of metamorphosis - you will not be the same person on the other side.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Cost: free
Bring: water and an open mind
Wear: comfortable clothes to move and sweat in
Please no talking once you enter Madre.
When you arrive you can leave bags, shoes, jackets by the door. Being barefoot is highly encouraged.
I’ll have music playing. We’ll take a few minutes to ground into the moment, the space, and our bodies. Feel free to stretch, dance, roll around on the ground, do some yoga, look around the space, and adjust to your new settings.
Next I will offer a demonstration of the 5Rhythms ‘wave’ format of movement we will be following.
Then we will move for about 50 minutes, and close out with a brief circle.
