Just in time for Earth Day, Pride Place of Belonging hosts a Photographic Earth Day Scavenger Hunt at The California Historic Nursery.Pride Place of Belonging invites the Queer Community, family, and allies to join us in an Earth Day Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m. Meet at the church, get instruction, and head across the street to the Historic California Nursery for the hunt. Teams will be given a list of treasures to find and photograph. No flowers, insects or habitats will be harmed in the Hunt, except maybe pesky mosquitoes. Prizes will be given to the first team to complete the Hunt and the team voted to have the most appealing photos within the designated time.
Pride Place of Belonging was formed at Niles Discovery Church to support the LGBTQIA+ community, recognizing that there was no other location designated for the Queer Community in Fremont. Niles Discovery Church has been an Open and Affirming Congregation for over 30 years. We decided we are capable of creating a safe, supportive, and fun place for queer people to gather on a monthly basis.
