Year after year this show we call ‘life on earth’ seems to be ramping up. 2024 unlocked yet again a new level. So what can we do? Well we can at least be together for hours on end, sweating, dancing to big beats and nice lights in a dark room. We can also do the same in a more lit room, with some rugs and other rump-softeners as we sit and lay down, listening to glistening celestial music designed to relax.What all that means is we’re going into 2025 with a 30-hour get-together. This time Post Bar teams up with Red Arctic Desert Cult aka RADC, who will bring their Grotto side along with them.
We start at 22:00 on the 31st with some of our esteemed locals and a special guest from the UK, shaking off the dust from a year gone by.
The "afters" section starting around 04:00 in the AM is where the final exorcism of past demons really gets going. The wild one, the cleaning of our slates.
As we approach the noon of January 1st, RADC transforms the space into ‘Grotto’ — a cozy sanctuary to take in the new year onto a clean slate, through a wind down, including a meditation, smoothies, pillows, rugs — anything to make you more comfortable. All the while we’ll enjoy a live music performance coupled with ambient and downtempo DJ sets.
As light outside starts to fade away around 16:00, the ‘Red Yö’ part of the event comes into play, priming people into a new night, newly built visions of a better future — a new start.
