The 2024 Point in Time Count in Clark County, Nevada, identified almost 8000 people experiencing homelessness, a 20% increase from the 2023 count. People experiencing homelessness often use cardboard signs to communicate their stories, needs, and humanity. The Signs of Humanity Project sought to raise awareness and lessen the community’s dehumanization. Tonight, the look is on you, but you must bring a cardboard sign to help raise awareness about the issue of housing insecurity.
