About this Event
Whether you haven't read a poem since high school or you live and breathe verse, come to Book Club Bar for a tour of the underground lab where the most brave, unsuccessful, delusional, and inspired people among us are working with the basic building blocks of language.
Each month, we'll spend Sunday brunch at Book Club talking about a poetry collection released in the last six months. We'll read the book beforehand and then gather for an intimate gab session. No other preparation needed; just come curious. Boozy, if that's your thing.
This month's poetry collection: by Gabrielle Calvocoressi. We'll be meeting at the new Book Club location in Bushwick, Brooklyn, at 380 Troutman Street!
