Join Chaya Merage, herbalist, ritualist, and writer, in a gathering to reignite our connection to ourselves, our ecosystem, and each other in celebration of her debut book, “Time Eternal and Other Seasons,” a book of poetry in devotion to our bodies and the natural world, with herbal recipes, journal prompts, and rituals.
Settle in with a cup of herbal tea (a recipe from the book) and experience a grounding practice to soften into body and community. Merage will then share about the values that brought the book to life: cyclicality, sovereignty, and the Heroine’s Journey, as well as wild sensual connection with our ecosystem and the rites of passage from maiden to sovereign being. Merage will read a few poems, answer community Q&A, and then we will experience a guided meditation and ritual by the author in the spirit of the book: connecting us to our own bodies, our ecosystem, and each other. You will be encouraged to write or journal and make an herbal amulet to take with you as an ally and parting gift.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Chaya (“HI-yah”) Merage is an herbalist, ritualist, and writer on the Hebrew Priestess path. She has been writing poetry since childhood. She is always reading at least three books, in at least three classes, and drinking at least three different cups of something, usually tea. She lives as best she can in rhythm with our natural world and in honor of her cycle in a home in Colorado with a little garden, two wise cats, and a loving community.
