The Colorado Fire Tribe was invited back to the Parade of Lights again this year! The parade is only one day again this year. Sat Dec 6. Meet up time that day is 4pm. You must be at least 16 years old to be in our group for the parade.Like each year, we're meeting 2 hours before the parade which starts. The parade actually starts at 6pm and will be broadcast live on tv. Everyone needs to show up early to pick up their shirt / hoodie, get a wristband, and attend the pre-parade meeting, and get into pods.
We are meeting just west of 13th and Broadway. This is the location on Google Maps:

Everyone must bring 1 gallon white gas with them to the parade. You will go through this much fuel in a night with how many times you burn over the course of the parade route.
You must also have or purchase a Colorado Fire Tribe hoodie or shirt. This is our costume for the parade and everyone must have one, including people who are just safeties. Many of you have them already, for those of you that need to buy one click on the Google Form link below. All orders are done online and you pick up your shirt or hoodie at the parade when you arrive.

We're assuming the parade has the same event waiver process that they did last year with wristbands handed out before the parade itself. Look for the person handing out wristbands once you get to the parade. If anything changes we'll let you know when we find out.
There are no in person practices for the parade. At the event we'll talk and walk through the pod system we use to rotate through fire safeties to keep everyone safe. If you have friends that want to join to help just be a fire safety we welcome any and all dedicated safeties.
