Before the planting comes the groundwork! Join us as we strip back the turf and shape the beds ready for planting in Pasley Pocket Park.
About this Event

This is a more physical session, helping prepare the space for the 430 new plants going in soon.

10.00am – 2.00pm

Drop in anytime and stay as long as you can. This session is for over 18s only, as the work involves lifting turf and using hand tools. No experience needed — just a willingness to get stuck in.

Tools and gloves will be available, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Please dress warmly, wear sturdy footwear, and come in clothes you don’t mind getting muddy. This is hands-on groundwork and may be slippery underfoot.

There’s no need to register, but it really helps us plan the team (and the biscuit supply!).
