About this Event
The combination of breathwork and meditation has been used for millennia across many cultures to positively influence the mind, body, and spirit. This event will blend ancient breathing techniques with inspirational music from different cultures to guide you into a deeper, altered state of awareness.
The experience will include a lecture exploring the biochemical effects of breathwork and meditation. Alongside the scientific foundation, participants will gain insight into the anatomy of breathing and how a deeper understanding of the body can be used to optimize respiratory function and support overall health.
These teachings will cover the use of posture, breathing rhythms, and meditative techniques designed to influence the nervous system, promoting heightened states of awareness as well as greater balance and function within the body. Accessing these states offers participants a unique opportunity for inward exploration, with the potential to create meaningful change through deeper insight and the cultivation of more creative and intentional states of mind.
Most importantly, this experience offers each individual the opportunity to explore their own path toward greater contentment, gratitude, and a deeper sense of wholeness.
Following the lecture, you’ll be guided through a 60 minute immersive session including meditation, structured breathing rounds, and the Pneuma Breathing method.
The experience concludes with an integration phase: a restorative, lying-down segment accompanied by a blend of live and recorded music.
