Að venju er skiptimarkaður að vori í bókasafninu með pottaplöntur. Undanfarin 7 ár hefur markaðurinn verið haldinn í maí og september. Allir blómaunnendur eru hjartanlega velkomnir.
Inni á safninu verður pláss fyrir inniblómin og á svölunum er hægt að vera með garðplöntur. Sömuleiðis má koma með potta og annað sem tilheyrir ræktuninni og skipta.
Plöntuáhugafólk er er hvatt til að koma og gera góð skipti. Þau sem ekkert hafa til skiptanna eru líka velkomin því það er aldrei að vita nema hægt verði að fá plöntu eða afleggjara án þess að gefa á móti. Einnig er þetta upplagt tækifæri fyrir þá sem eiga umfram, að deila með öðrum – og ekki síður að spjalla við aðra ræktendur um umhirðu plantanna og þetta skemmtilega áhugamál.

Plant Swap | Flowers and Cuttings
Árbær City Library, Hraunbær 119
As usual, the library will host its spring plant swap, welcoming all plant lovers to exchange potted plants. For the past seven years, the market has been held in May and September.
Inside the library, there will be space for indoor plants, and on the balcony, garden plants can be displayed. You may also bring pots and other gardening accessories to exchange.
Plant enthusiasts are encouraged to come and make great trades. Those who don’t have anything to swap are also warmly welcome; there’s always a chance to receive a plant or cutting without giving one in return. This is also a great opportunity for those with surplus plants to share with others and just as importantly, to chat with fellow growers about plant care and this delightful hobby.
