Join as at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory for the annual PlyMSEF Student Conference! Expect a free day of informative and inspiring talks and networking on all things marine research in Plymouth.
The Plymouth Marine Science and Education Foundation (PlyMSEF) is a charitable organisation which promotes and supports marine science and education across Plymouth. It connects 5 marine-themed institutes across the city:
- DDRC Healthcare
- Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom (MBA)
- Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML)
- Ocean Conservation Trust
- University of Plymouth Marine Institute
The conference is an opportunity for Plymouth's students to meet and present their work in a friendly and supportive setting. We welcome any Master and PhD students to attend and participate in oral or poster presentations. Undergraduations are also welcome to come along and watch. There will be plenty of opportunities to network, with refreshments (tea/coffee) and lunch provided.

The deadline for abstract submissions is 09:00 Thursday 5th March.
The deadline to register to attend in person is 09:00 Friday 24th April.
