About this Event

Pitch Your Peeps Queer Slide Deck Match Making are affirming events that center queer relationships by inviting folx to pitch their (35+) queer, trans, or gender expansive peeps to others who are interested in finding their match–No dating apps! No swiping! No phones!-- just a slide deck lovingly made by friends or family about their baddies and beloveds to an audience full of potential connections. The cuties being pitched also attends the event and they review their pitchers’ slide decks before the event.

But wait, there’s more! Everyone attending the event can also wear a color coded Queer Connections name tag to let others know what types of connections (e.g. new friends, dating, FWB, etc) they might be interested in! The hosts keep the flirty and community building energy up throughout the evening. After the pitches there is a Mingling Moment and a Missed Connections box for our shy queers!

Pitch Your Peeps is a queer feminist of color led event series to support healthy and affirming connections in the Chicago queer and trans community. We want all who participate in our programs to join us in working to keep ourselves and each safe so that we can thrive as a community. While our events are geared towards finding connections for folx who are 35+, we do not assume that we have all been taught how to be in meaningful relationship with one another. PYP lovingly offers “After Care” dating tips and resources to our pitch pairs and attendees during our events to support their new or future connections!
