This is an in-person workshop and pilates movement class tailored to therapists who live in that armchair.
Guided by a STOTT-trained Pilates instructor with a particular passion for postural misalignment.
This session offers a refreshing blend of gentle movement, practical insight and well-earned self-care.
If you’ve ever finished a day of sessions with a stiff neck, tight shoulders, an aching back, or hips that feel older than they are (even when you invested in a good chair) you’re not the only one.
A seated career has patterns, and those patterns follow you the rest of your day.
So let’s change that and learn something along the way.
This 1hr session will be:
- A gentle pilates class focusing on posture misalignment common with mental health practitioners.
- Explore common aches and patterns most seated industries experience
- Learn simple, realistic ways to reset during and between sessions
- Gain fresh perspective on how stress and anxiety show up physically; in yourself and in clients
This class will focus on awareness, ease and leaving with tools you’ll actually use and can offer to your clients.
