About this Event
Pilates, Diastasis Recti & Pelvic Floor - April
A 4-Week Postnatal Pilates Course
A progressive mat Pilates course designed to help women safely restore their core and pelvic floor after birth. Babies are welcome.
This specialist programme supports women recovering from both vaginal and C-section births, helping you reconnect with your core, rebuild strength, and regain confidence in movement.
Each session focuses on evidence-based Pilates exercises that gently retrain the deep core muscles and pelvic floor while improving breathing, posture, and overall stability.
Throughout the four weeks we will focus on:
• Reconnecting with your deep core and pelvic floor
• Supporting diastasis recti recovery
• Improving breathing mechanics and abdominal activation
• Gradually rebuilding strength and stability
• Movements that support the demands of motherhood
This course is suitable for women experiencing:
• Diastasis recti
• Pelvic floor weakness or leaking
• Symptoms of prolapse
• General postnatal core weakness
All sessions are taught by instructors specialising in women’s health and postnatal recovery, and participants have the option of being referred to a specialist women’s health physiotherapist if additional support is required.
Babies are welcome to attend and can lie beside you on a mat while you move.
