Une continuation de nos concerts traditionnels de Ténèbres… avec une touche différente.
Jean-Sébastien Bach n’a jamais composé de recueil de ténèbres, mais ses dix airs rarement interprétés pour voix solistes et violoncelle piccolo obbligato contiennent des similitudes rhétoriques, émotionnelles et musicales avec le genre de Carême.
Une soirée de nuances profondes, de beauté et de réflexion vous attend alors que Bronwyn Thies-Thompson (soprano) et Haitham Haidar (ténor) s’associent avec Les Goûts réunis - Kyran Assing (violoncelle piccolo), Karin Cuellar Rendon (violon) et Abraham David Ross (orgue). L’espace sera agrémenté d’intermèdes des œuvres pour orgue de J.S. Bach et d’un éclairage tamisé aux bougies.
Laissez-vous envoûter par la puissance expressive de la voix humaine et les sons sacrés du continuo.

John Sebastian Bach never composed a collection of ténèbres, but his ten rarely performed arias for solo voices and violoncello piccolo obbligato contain rhetorical, emotive, and musical similitudes to the Lenten genre.
An evening of profound nuance, beauty, and reflection awaits as Bronwyn Thies-Thompson (soprano) and Haitham Haidar (tenor) join forces with Les Goûts réunis - Kyran Assing (violoncello piccolo), Karin Cuellar Rendon (violin), and Abraham David Ross (organ). Space garnished with intermezzi of J.S Bach’s organ works and low-stimulus lighting of candles.
