PIANOSCAPES Mysteria will take place within The Spirit of Amsterdam, the 3-day urban festival for the young spirit in houses of worship taking place between November 22 and 24 in Amsterdam. Artists, houses of worship, and community organizations surprise you with a mix of music, art, culture, and rituals. Each program has a social purpose. The Spirit has no religious objectives.

PIANOSCAPES Mysteria is an inter-disciplinary collaboration project between Marynka (piano composer/ performer), Dr. Goldfinger (dj, sound artist), Vladimir Grafov (tech/light artist) and olfactory artist Juliya Untilova (olfactory artist exploring the scents as medium).
PIANOSCAPES performance is based on the reflective piano compositions of Marynka, which draw inspiration from French impressionism and Eastern modal music. The unique and intimate experience of Marynka’s piano play is enhanced by sound effects and percussions produced by Dr. Goldfinger, by dynamic light installation controlled in real time by Vladimir Grafov and by the fragrances created by Juliya Untilova.
Complemented by the public as an active participant of this alchemic unity, all the elements connect together in a synchronized quantum relationship.
PIANOSCAPES pursues the dream of the great XXth Century composer Alexander Scriabin to create ‘Mysteria’ – a symphony of colours, lights, sounds, smells, movement and even sounding architecture.

Location
The Pianoscapes Mysteria will take place in a lesser-known historical monument on the Amsterdam canal ring – Keizersrgracht Church. Designed by the Dutch architect G.B. Salm, who is also responsible for the original church building of the famed pop temple Paradiso in Amsterdam, it has outstanding acoustic properties, which we plan to integrate in this program.
