Description of Program
Join us for a photowalk with Fujifilm X/GFX Creator, Dave Julian! David will lead a guided Photowalk to South Lake Union to practice creative techniques on the go. Bring your camera!
While this program is sponsored by Fujifilm, photographers of all brands are welcome to participate. The content and techniques discussed throughout the walk are brand-agnostic and applicable to any camera system.

Free Loaner Gear:
Get ready to experience Fujifilm firsthand! Fujifilm representatives will have a selection of Cameras and Lenses available to use and try out during the walk. Gear is limited in quantity and only available for registered attendees. Please bring a memory card and valid identification for the gear loan.
What to Bring:
- A camera
- A wide angle/zoom lens
- Rain cover (optional, depending on weather)
- Layers and comfy walking shoes
While all PhotoFest events are free, registration is required to attend. Due to limited capacity at each venue, entry is granted on a first-come, served basis.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Dave Julian is a Seattle-based photographer and photo-educator who enjoys helping others explore their vision and improve their craft. His work has appeared in Nikon World, Outside, National Geographic Traveler, Islands and Outdoor Photographer. He leads cultural travel and street photography workshops in the US and overseas including three in Vietnam.
Dave is also lead instructor for the UW Photography Certificate program. He is a member of Fujifilm's X/GFX CREATOR photography team.

Now in its 17th year, PhotoFest continues to exceed our wildest expectations. The three-day event includes a broad spectrum of on-location shoots, studio settings, photowalks, lectures, and product demonstrations. It gives a larger purpose to reconnect not only to our art, but to each other. Image-making and visual storytelling capture moments that are fleeting, but the relationships we build along the way endure.
