Phoneboy is an Indie-Pop band formed in 2017 out of Hoboken, NJ. The lineup currently consists of singer/guitarists Wyn Barnum and Ricky Dana, bassist James Fusco, and keyboardist/singer Jordan Torres. The band formed at Stevens Institute of Technology after Barnum and Dana met because of the area lacking a “large indie scene”. Barnum’s childhood friend, Fusco was brought in, and after bonding over their love of music, decided to form the band. The band name comes from Ricky’s overuse of his phone.
