Join Philadelphia Legacies for its 10th Annual Portrait & Community Awards Gala to continue the tradition of honoring Philadelphia's legendary changemakers and leaders in order to inspire the changemakers of the future who help improve our great city.

Start the evening off with a cocktail while mingling and networking with community figures from fields including government, community activism, non-profit, philanthropy, education, culture, and more.
DINNER & AWARDS
Then settle in with a delicious dinner, great jazz John Holton band, and participate in our marquee ceremony honoring our Portrait and Community Leadership Award winners. Be inspired by their legacy and discover how they continue to shape our city for the better. And the networking never stops!!!

Portrait Awardees :
- Rev. W. Wilson Goode, Sr. (Portrait Artist: Oranda Curry Johnson): Philadelphia's groundbreaking first African American Mayor who transformed the city into a major metropolitan player, later founding AMACHI, Inc., an internationally recognized mentoring program that has served over 300,000 children of incarcerated parents.
- Georgie Woods (Portrait Artist: Laurie Cooper): Legendary "Man with the Goods" whose influential radio career at WDAS became the soundtrack to Philadelphia's Civil Rights Movement, organizing historic benefit concerts and using his platform to mobilize tens of thousands for social justice causes.
- Rev. Dr. Repsie M. Warren (Portrait Artist: Terrill Kevyn Johnson) Revolutionary advocate who broke dual barriers as the first woman Vice Chair of Black Clergy of Philadelphia & Vicinity while pioneering inclusive deaf ministry through the Society For Helping Church, transforming accessibility in religious spaces across the region.
- Traci Green (Portrait Artist: Damon Bain) Boundary-breaking coach who shattered collegiate tennis's glass ceiling as Harvard University's first African American tennis coach, carrying forward the legacy of her pioneering mother Tina Sloan Green, and earning three Hall of Fame inductions for her transformative impact on the sport.
- Tiffany Bacon (Portrait Artist: Ivben Tayiq) Multi-talented media powerhouse whose voice over the last 30 years has shaped Philadelphia radio across Power 99, WDAS, and Radio One before ascending to Creative & Production Director at WURD, while simultaneously building acclaimed careers in acting and fashion design.
