An exciting opportunity to become a confident Stand Up Comedy performer!
About this Event

Philadelphia Comedy College

A comprehensive 10 session course on the art, business and science of stand up comedy. Instructors from HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Comedy Central, and Starz will guide students through the course, helping them to develop their skills and become confident performers.

Every student who enrolls in the course will receive a set of utensils, a t-shirt, an open mic directory, professional headshots, a spot on a graduation showcase, a diploma, and an HD edited video reel of their graduation performance. Students also learn acting, comedy improv, wellness techniques & marketing strategies. This program is ideal for beginners or working comics looking to hone their skills and take their Stand Up Comedy career to the next level.

Founded in 2016 by Ruffin Vision Network LLC, Philadelphia Comedy College has already graduated over 200 students and is the premiere program for Stand Up Comedy education in Philadelphia. The success of the program can be attributed to Chancellor Vernon K Ruffin Jr, Co-Founder & Director of Administration Andrea Darden, and Lead Instructor TuRae, who is held in high regard as Philadelphia's favorite comedian.

"I come from a performing arts education, and Andrea has worked with many Universities...so we have the structure. TuRae solidifies the program with unmatched pedigree, wisdom, and skill," said Vernon K Ruffin Jr., Founder of Philadelphia Comedy College.
