Pest Control Continuing Education Course: Honey Bee Identification, Protection, and Live Removal
Hosted by Eli's Honey Bees
Join us in person for a one-hour continuing education course all about honey bees and the contexts in which pest control professionals may encounter them. Participants will leave this course with an understanding of basic honey bee biology and colony structure, ability to distinguish between swarms and established colonies, options for responsibly re-hiving swarms and colonies living in man-made structures, and techniques for safeguarding vital pollinators during pest control operations.
This course is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Plant Industry for the following credits:

23 - Park / School Pest Control -1
The Maryland Department of Agriculture's Office of Plant Industries and Pest Management has approved this course for the following credits:

This course is offered at no charge by Eli's Honey Bees. Advance registration through Eventbrite is required. Coffee and donuts will be provided.
