Calling all Peeps for some Egg-citing fun at this Community Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Covenant UMC at Wagner Wayside Park. A great opportunity to get out of the house with the kids for free. The cooperative egg hunting method will be used again (in comparison to traditional competitive methods) so show up anytime 2:30-4 pm. Everyone welcome! The event is FREE and will also include games, kids crafts, and a chance to visit with the Easter Bunny.Just show up (and stop by the welcome booth at the front of the park to get started).
What is the cooperative egg hunting method? Participants will be given an egg carton when they check in and will be encouraged to find a dozen eggs of the color listed on the carton. Participants are not rushed or trampled because everyone is cooperatively helping to clear the field over the course of 1.5 hours. The field will be restocked as needed and some eggs will be filled with allergy safe treats.
