About this Event
Erica Gonzalez recently started in her role as the Executive Director with Faith Kitchen in early 2026. Prior to this transition, she served as a Director with the San Antonio Food Bank, where she supported more than 300 partners across 29 counties, and led programs connected to public funding, compliance, data, and community impact. She brings experience from Health and Human Services where she worked closely with interdisciplinary teams to support individuals through person-centered planning.
She was born and raised in San Antonio and can’t imagine living anywhere else! She graduated from Antonian College Preparatory High School, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a certification in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from UTSA and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UIW.
She prides herself in holding a strong commitment to mission-driven leadership, collaboration, and serving the Faith Kitchen guests with dignity and respect. She enjoys working on the front lines, connecting with people, and public service. As the Executive Director with Faith Kitchen, she works tirelessly to ensure the community knows that this resource is available.
She is happily married to her high-school sweetheart, has two amazing daughters, and a dog named Gizmo. She enjoys going to concerts (all kinds of music!), travelling with her family, and running in 5Ks.
