The closing night of Peaks of Imperfection. A communal supper club, a film screening, and the artists in conversation.
For eight days, nineteen artists from Submit to Love Studios have occupied The Art House with work that spans painting, ceramics, embroidery, sculpture, drawing, stitchwork, poetry and music. Tonight, we gather around the table to celebrate what they've built.
The evening brings together a film made during preparation of the exhibition, artist talks offering a direct line into the creative processes behind the work, and a supper prepared in the communal, inclusive spirit that defines both Submit to Love Studios and The Art House.
Closing the show with food, with conversation, and surrounded by the works, feels only right.
Ticket includes food, screening and access to the Peaks of Imperfection exhibition.

This event is part of Peaks of Imperfection, a week-long exhibition and public programme at The Art House in Bethnal Green, running 24 April – 30 April 2026. Nineteen artists from Submit to Love Studios, based at Headway East London, present painting, ceramics, sculpture, embroidery, drawing, stitchwork, poetry and music in a full takeover of the space. The exhibition is open to the public throughout, and entry is free - just drop in between 10am - 5pm each day.
