About this Event

Fan Dance for Beginners Class

Introduction

Whether you’re a cross-disciplinary enthusiast looking to try a new art form, a dancer aiming to refine your classical expression, or someone from any cultural background, profession, or age—unlock the unique charm of classical dance with a single fan!

Core Highlights

Dual Cultivation of Skill & Mindset: Learn basic techniques and style mastery of three classic fans (folding fan, round fan, Tai Chi fan) while absorbing the traditional cultural concept of "governing movement with tranquility". Enhance fan dance skills, calm your mind, boost concentration, and feel the spiritual power of classical dance.

Seamless Body-Fan Coordination: Focus on exploring the connections between "fan and rhythm, fan and stillness, fan and momentum". Break through the difficulty of "uncoordinated body and fan" through repeated practice, gradually achieving the artistic state of "unity of human and fan".

Full Participation from Practice to Performance: Structured as "combination learning + workshop experience + final dance choreography", progress from single fan technique practice to complete repertoire rehearsals. Turn your skills into a stage-ready work and gain a strong sense of accomplishment.

Key Information

Course Content: Master basic techniques of three classic fans first; deeply integrate rhythm to polish body-fan coordination; advance from "learning skills" to "creating works" through combination training and repertoire choreography.

Target Audience: Dance lovers from all countries, all ages, and all professions (no experience needed—passion is the starting point!)
