About this Event
The Pathways series has developed as a place to consider artists' approaches in depth, and discuss their thinking and their choices in a facilitated group. Seeing the display of their work, and joining the discussions can refresh your own ideas and understanding, whether you are also an artist, or simply interested in the communicative power of creativity.
Kirsten Lavers will be sharing work made whilst in recovery from breast cancer "Tomorrow is Another Day” made using fluids and inks used in surgical interventions. She will also be bringing her new series "Good Enough" on issues of mothering. (images 2 and 1 in the header)
Idit Elia Nathan will be sharing work made in response to the brutality in Gaza and across Palestine. Her pieces include drawings, short films, and embroidered family handkerchiefs. (images 3 & 4, image 4 credit Kathy-Anne Lin)
