About this Event
Parish History Day at St John's Walworth
Join us in person for an opportunity to view some exciting displays about the history of St John's Church, St John's School and the parish itself (from Heygate Street to East Street!)
There'll be a talk on our history as well as a session for sharing memories, facilitated by a Heritage Officer from Southwark Archives. Whether you have lived in Walworth for 50 years or 50 days, come and discover the past, present and future of community with us...
In the afternoon there'll be a chance to look ahead to some of the church's plans for our outside space on Larcom Street, and to stay on for an Afternoon Tea together with a sing-along to some old Walworth classics and school assembly favourties...
All are welcome to come for all or part of the day!
