About this Event
Join Writopia Lab Bay Area & the Bay Area branch of the Sunrise Movement for a special sci-fi writing workshop entitled PARALLEL UNIVERSES. Engaging with questions around technology through dystopian (and utopian) writing, this workshop will encourage young writers to build characters looking for answers to some of the most pressing questions of our present and our future. Workshop participants will be led by local authors, activists, and Writopia instructors in a fun-filled afternoon of writing games and activities centered around sci-fi writing as future world-building in and beyond the page.
This workshop is open to kids 12-18.
