About this Event
PANIC AT THE POTLUCK is a Forum Theatre play set in a school where a newly appointed principal launches an ambitious “green agenda”, sparking mixed reactions among the school community. Some embrace the push for sustainability, while others feel overwhelmed, unheard, or left behind. During a staff potluck, simmering tensions come to the surface as questions of cultural sensitivity, identity, and inclusion emerge around food, traditions, and whose voices are centred. When good intentions collide with blind spots and misunderstandings, what could be done differently to prevent, de-escalate, and resolve the conflict?
